Jane Kirkland is Executive Vice President of Knowledge Products at PortBlue Corporation. PortBlue is a Mellon-backed company that enables corporations and professional service firms to capture knowledge and expertise rapidly and concisely in the form of interactive Web applications. She also serves as an advisory board member to three other software companies that are developing applications in the fields of business information, sales force support, and supply chain management. Jane was CTO and CMO at FreeMarkets and a key leader in setting the Company's strategy, driving the rapid revenue growth and establishing its leading-edge technology platform. Prior to FreeMarkets, Jane was a Principal at McKinsey & Co. and directed the Firm's knowledge Management efforts.
Mark Desantis
Dr. DeSantis is CEO and President of Formation3, LLC a consulting firm based
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania specializing in providing management, strategic
planning and business development assistance to technology-based companies
seeking or currently doing business with the federal government. He is also
Co-founder and Chairman of Bedford Square Technologies an information
security firm also based in Pittsburgh. In 2000, Dr. DeSantis co-founded
Venturebeginnings, Inc., a venture service provider dedicated to developing
nascent technology-based businesses and entrepreneurs. Prior to co-founding
Venturebeginnings, Dr. DeSantis served as a visiting scientist at the
Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and a strategic
consultant to the Carnegie Mellon Research Institute. Mark also worked as Director of Government Relations for Texas
Instruments, Inc., served as a Senior Policy Analyst in both The White House
Office of Science and Technology Policy and the U.S. Department of Commerce
in the Bush Administration, and was a member of the staff of the late US
Senator John Heinz.
Mark holds a BA in American Studies and an MBA in Finance from the
University of Dayton; an MS in Technology Management from The American
University; and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Economics from George Mason
University. He is a Certified Financial Manager (CFM), Certified Quality
Manager (CQM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and a
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) He also holds a Series 7 and
attended the Advanced Management Program at Stanford University, Palo, Alto,
California.
Maryann Keller
Maryann Keller's experience as a Wall Street auto analyst for 28 years and as President of Priceline's auto services unit gives her invaluable insights into the technology evolution and DYNAMiX's role as a leader in business intelligence technology. As the author of two books, Rude Awakening and Collision, and as an insightful thought leader in the auto industry and in e-commerce, she provides crucial guidance on DYNAMiX's initiatives in the auto industry and other high potential verticals.
Scott Grimes
Scott Grimes is a Principal with Canaan Partners, a leading early-stage venture capital firm. Previously, Mr. Grimes was DYNAMiX's Chief Executive Officer. He continues to be closely involved with key company decisions and the Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining DYNAMiX, Mr. Grimes was Senior VP of Corporate Development at FreeMarkets, Inc. (NASDAQ: FMKT) responsible for setting the corporate strategy and directing M&A/alliance efforts. Scott has 19 years of experience in engineering, marketing, sales, strategy and corporate development, and general management. His prior experiences include 8 years as a partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc and 9 years at Schlumberger. He received a MBA from Stanford University and a BSEE from Union College.
Steve Fischetti
Mr. Steve Fischetti is a Vice President and Branch Operations Manager for Legg Mason. As a founder of DYNAMiX, Steve serves on the Board of Directors and takes an active role in the Company's operations. He has 16 years of experience in the securities industry with such firms as Shearson Lehman Hutton, Paine Webber, and currently Legg Mason. In addition to his portfolio and operations management functions, he serves as a member of Legg Mason's corporate technology steering committee. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Science degree from the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration, and executive education from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
